Allie and Brian had perfect fall weather for their late September wedding, and it was such a pleasure to capture their day at Saint Cosmas and Damian Parish in Twinsburg and the Bertram Inn & Conference Center in Aurora. The Bertram is where I attended senior prom (I feel old!) so it was especially fun to return there and have the chance to photograph it for such a gorgeous event. With help from Allie's mother Carol, every detail throughout the day was carefully thought of and planned for. Allie and Brian's young daughter Lauren even participated as their flower girl!
I began the day at Carol's house as Allie got dressed, and my assistant Nicole began with Brian as he got ready at his home. We both then headed to the church where Allie and Brian wed in a sweet, heartfelt ceremony. (At one point, Lauren even started running around the church, she was so excited!) After the ceremony, we made a quick stop at nearby Idlewood Park for some shots on its bridge before heading to Squaw Rock (now officially Henry Church Rock) in the South Chagrin Reservation for the rest of the portraits. Afterward, we headed to the reception. Everything was set up beautifully at the Bertram, and the evening was full of precious moments like Allie and her grandfather's dance and heartfelt toasts. We ended the evening with a few last night shots just outside the reception.
Below are a few favorite images from Allie and Brian's day. Congratulations!
