Megan and Rich tied the knot on the perfect fall day in October- we could not have asked for better weather! Megan and Rich are both so fun and laid-back, and it was such a pleasure to capture their day. Their wedding was full of Irish touches, from vivid emerald green bridesmaid dresses, their very own bagpiper, a stop at the Irish Famine Memorial in the Flats, and lots more. There was also so much variety in culture and scenery: the classic Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Willoughby, the urban backdrops of downtown, and the rolling hills and meticulous catering at Pine Ridge Country Club.
I began the day at the Willoughby Courtyard Marriott, where Megan and Rich were finishing up getting ready. We then headed down the street to Immaculate Conception, where Megan and Rich took a quick moment to hold hands around the church doors (without peaking!) before their ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, Megan and Rich's very own bagpiper escorted them out of the church! I then jumped in the limo with Megan and Rich's bridal party to go downtown for portraits in the Flats. We made stops at the Cleveland sign at Abbey Road, Shooters, Heritage Park, and the Irish Famine Memorial.
After portraits, we drove back to Willoughby for Megan and Rich's reception at Pine Ridge Country Club. The night was full of heartfelt toasts, delicious cupcakes, and, of course, dancing! Megan and Rich even incorporated their new in-laws into the father-daughter and mother-son dances.
Below are a few favorite images from the day. Congratulations to Megan and Rich!
