Last Sunday we headed down to Columbus in order to see the Chinese Lantern Festival (also for the L Family's portrait session and to grab dinner). This is the festival's second year in Columbus, and after seeing everybody's pictures on social media last year, I had been dying to go! The festival definitely lived up to the hype- it was like a more cultural version of Wildlights, with beautiful Chinese lanterns and light sculptures everywhere throughout the Ohio State Fairgrounds. The artwork, paired with the supermoon, made for a breathtaking lit-up night.
This has been a busy season, between weddings, mitzvahs, and portrait sessions, and though I love it all, it was so much fun to take a break, shoot for myself, and just have fun capturing all there was to see around the festival as we wandered around. Below are a few favorite images!
