Christy and Casey tied the knot last Saturday, and it was the perfect way to kick off the summer! They had a beautiful sunny day despite an early forecast of rain, and both of them were so excited to get married! It also turns out that Christy's sister and bridesmaid Beth went to high school with one of my good friends Zach, so it was almost like hanging out with old friends!
We began the day at the Ravenna Elks Lodge, where Christy and Casey got dressed and ready separately. Their ceremony there was sweet and sincere, and a bubble exit followed. We did portraits before and after their ceremony next to the Elks Lodge, then headed to the Knights of Columbus Council in Mantua for the reception.
In the evening, Christy, Casey, and I snuck out of the reception for about half an hour to do more portraits at the nearby Hiram College, which is absolutely gorgeous! (It is now one of my new favorite Cleveland area locations!) We explored the gardens and campus before going back to Mantua where Christy and Casey got back to dancing the night away with their family and friends. Oh, and did I mention, Christy's bridesmaid MADE her wedding cake!
Below are some favorite images from Christy and Casey's beautiful day, congratulations to them both!
