Cleveland, and the whole country for that matter, has been hit by a cold spell over the holidays this year, and it was frigid for the R Family's portrait session last week! When Katy reached out to me about gifting her mother a family portrait session for Christmas, we knew it was likely to be cold, so we decided on the Cleveland Museum of Art so that we would have both indoor and outdoor options. It was a good choice, as it was well below freezing outside!
We spent about half the time indoors in the museum's atrium and then headed outside to brave the cold for some sunset images next to Wade Oval. The atrium was decked out for the holidays with a giant Christmas tree, and outside it was crisp and snowy for the early winter golden hour. Below are a few favorite images from our afternoon downtown. Happy holidays!
