My photography is sincere and photojournalistic, and focuses on the people, emotions, and culture around us. I love capturing the best moments in people's lives: engagements, weddings and other life events, but also the more subtle family and senior portraits of growing families and individuals. I love getting to know each and every one of my clients, learning what is special to them, and capturing it all in vivid color.

Hours are spent preparing for each session and event to make sure that we get it just right, and afterwards each image is edited individually to bring out its best. Even that very last reception photo of your cousin trying to breakdance. No outsourcing. No shortcuts. No less than top-of-the-line equipment. I photograph a limited number of events every year so that each one gets the attention that it truly deserves.

There is more to me than simply photography, though. I also teach high school Spanish and have had the good fortune to be able to travel to many Spanish-speaking countries, as well as many other parts of the globe. I enjoy theater and the arts, horseback riding, and skiing. I'm also probably too organized and perfectionistic for my own good!
