Deniz & Joey: Wedding at Landoll's Mohican Castle

Deniz and Joey's wedding in late August was truly magical, and it didn't hurt that it took place at a real life castle! I traveled to Loudonville for the day to capture the celebration at Landoll's Mohican Castle. Despite the weather going from rain to sun seemingly every few minutes, Deniz and Joey had a great attitude and couldn't help but laugh it off. (I guess that's just part of living in Ohio, after all!) Deniz and her mother Zoey also are very close and they blew me away all day with their positivity, conscientiousness, and love for each other and everyone around them. They are two of the kindest, sweetest people I've had the pleasure to work with, and Zoey did everything she could to ensure her daughter and Joey had the best day ever.

Michael and I began the day as Deniz and Joey got ready at Landoll's Mohican Castle, and we did portraits separately in the midst of intermittent downpours. Luckily the rain stopped just in time, however, for Deniz and Joey's afternoon ceremony. Deniz and Joey didn't see each other before their ceremony, so it was an emotional moment as Zoey walked Deniz down the aisle. After the ceremony we finished portraits as Deniz and Joey's guests attended cocktail hour. The reception was a blast and it featured heartfelt toasts, dancing, and delicious cake. Deniz and Joey ended the evening with a sparkler exit and a few night portraits outside.

Jennifer is such an amazing person and photographer! We’re so glad we had her do our wedding photos! We loved every single photo she captured and she went out of her way to make sure our day was amazing. She was very supportive when we got a rain scare and helped us make the best of the situation. She worked really well with our other vendors and the whole day ended up being SO perfect. I am the mother of the groom. These pictures are fabulous! The wedding was beautiful, the venue was gorgeous, the DJ was awesome (he had people dancing all night long), the cake was delicious (the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had), and the food was delicious too! It's true, the wedding was magical! The hotel is truly a sight to behold. All rooms are different, no two the same. Very romantic!
