Alicia and Ben tied the knot in Columbus in mid October, and it was such a pleasure and honor to capture their day! The week beforehand was a hard one due to world events, but their wedding was a powerful reminder that continuing to celebrate life and love during difficult times is essential. These two brought their family and friends together during a time when togetherness is so very needed, and I am so happy for them both!
My assistant Abel and I began the day at The Golf Club at Little Turtle where Alicia and Ben got ready separately. Once they were each ready, their first look took place outside next to the lake. After that, we did portraits with Alicia and Ben’s wedding party as well as much of their families. It was cold out, but everyone did a great job of acting like it wasn’t for the pictures!
After portraits, we headed back inside the country club for the Kabbalat Panim, Badeken, and Ketubah signing. Alicia and Ben’s Jewish ceremony then took place outside in the courtyard. After they officially tied the knot, we did a few last portraits outside before coming inside to warm up for their reception.
Alicia and Ben’s reception featured heartfelt toasts, a packed dance floor complete with pompoms, band instruments, and even jumprope, and a table full of delicious desserts. Throughout the night, Alicia and Ben and their guests celebrated their new marriage with love and excitement while also keeping their family and friends in Israel in their thoughts.
Mazel tov, Alicia and Ben! Below are a few favorite images from their day!
