Teddy: Bar Mitzvah Portraits and Reception in Pepper Pike

Teddy became bar mitzvah on May 2nd, and it was such a pleasure to capture portraits commemorating the occasion with him and his family!

I met up with Teddy, his brothers Nathan and Jake, and his parents Jill and Ben on Thursday after Teddy's rehearsal for portraits inside and outside Congregation B'Nai Jeshurun in Pepper Pike. Outside it was chilly but starting to feel like spring (finally!), so we took advantage of the late afternoon light and headed outside to the courtyard after doing portraits in the sanctuary. 

We came back together for extended family portraits on Saturday at Teddy's reception at The Country Club in Pepper Pike. It was chilly, again, but Teddy's family members were great sports about it and we still were able to do most pictures outside. After that, guests began to arrive and Teddy's party kicked off with karaoke performed by him and his cousins.
