It was so much fun last week to spend time with Tory and Hugh on the first day of spring for their engagement session! Tory and Hugh got engaged this winter, and I am so excited to be photographing their wedding this coming November in Columbus. It was great to hear about all of their wedding plans as they are coming together, as well as to talk about the Big Ten- Tory went to Indiana University and Hugh went to the University of Michigan, graduating just one year after me! It was so fun to catch up about all of our favorite restaurants and memories in Ann Arbor. Us Michigan alums tend to keep quiet in Columbus. :) 

We started off in North Bank Park next to the Scioto River, where Tory used to run, then headed to the Short North where Tory and Hugh had their first date at MoJoe Lounge (which unfortunately has since closed). Hugh currently lives in Boston, but was in town visiting for a few weeks, so it was the perfect time for us to get together for a session. It was a bit chilly, but we kept warm by walking and exploring the area, even stopping for a quick pose in the middle of High Street! Tory and Hugh are such a perfect couple, and I am so happy for them both on their engagement. Some favorite shots from the session are below.
