When my good friend Laura asked me if I'd be interested in doing a newborn portrait session for her and her husband Alex's upcoming baby, I couldn't have been more excited! It's one thing to photograph amazing clients, but it's another to photograph the brand new family of one of your best friends of 15 some years. Zoey arrived last week just in time for Father's Day, and she is so precious! We took advantage of the gorgeous light in her nursery and did the bulk of the session there, in between chatting and catching up on life. Laura and Alex's dog Penny even braved the stairs and jumped in for a few last shots!
