It's always a pleasure to work at Landerhaven, and Brooke and Kevin's July wedding was no exception! I first met Brooke and Kevin a little over a year ago, and it's been so fun getting to know them and working with them since then, from their engagement session last summer in Chagrin Falls to their heartfelt wedding ceremony and celebration last weekend. Brooke and Kevin have been together for nearly 10 years, spanning high school in Mentor where they first met, college at Ohio University in Athens, and then long distance after that before settling down together in Solon. What's not to love?

The day began as Brooke got ready at Landerhaven and Kevin got ready at the Staybridge Suites hotel across the street. Rain and thunderstorms were in the forecast, but we got lucky with just a few clouds throughout the day! Brooke and Kevin's first look took place by the willow tree, full of both laughs and tears. After that, we did portraits by the nearby lawn and gardens. After portraits came Brooke and Kevin's ceremony, in which they were married by a good friend whose wedding Brooke had officiated herself! Cocktail hour and dinner in Landerhaven's Grand Ballroom followed, and a night of dancing and celebration ensued after that. Additionally, light blue was everywhere in Brooke and Kevin's details and decor, and being a little obsessed with the color myself, I was just in love with their small touches and color palette throughout the day!
