I met Stephanie and Vick through Stephanie's brother Brandon, whose wedding I photographed last fall. Meeting new clients through old clients is always so much fun, and it also has the benefit of me already being familiar with many mutual family members and friends. Stephanie and Vick just got engaged over Memorial Day weekend, and they are already well into planning their wedding for next June!

Stephanie and Vick wanted a garden backdrop for their summer engagement session, and since they live in North Olmsted, I suggested Schoepfle Gardens in Birmingham. Schoepfle Gardens is a bit of a drive, even from the west side of Cleveland, however its exceptional beauty and variety make it well worth it. We began by walking through the pine forest to a secluded pond in the forest, then we made our way back towards the front of the park for portraits in the rose garden. We had a beautiful evening full of golden hour light (despite forecasts of rain all week!) and I am so excited for Stephanie and Vick's wedding next year! Below are a few favorite images!
