This year has thrown just about every wedding and large event for a loop, and with so many postponements, Stephanie and Garrick's wedding in October somehow ended up being one of just a few full wedding days that I've photographed this season! The last time I saw these two in person was for their engagement session at Rockefeller Greenhouse, shortly before the pandemic began. Though the world has changed a lot since February, it was so nice to get back in the swing of things and document this couple's love and celebration!
I began the day with Stephanie and her bridesmaids as they got ready at her mother's home in Painesville, and my assistant Amber began with Garrick and his groomsmen at the Hampton Inn Cleveland-Solon. We then headed to The Tanglewood Club in Chagrin Falls, where we each did portraits separately. Stephanie and Garrick's wedding ceremony was held in a beautiful wooded area next to the country club, and several guests joined via Zoom to watch their vows! After the ceremony, we jumped in golf carts for bridal party portraits next to a nearby river and pond on the grounds of The Tanglewood Club.
After portraits, Stephanie and Garrick's reception kicked off with heartfelt and hilarious toasts, followed by cake and dancing. Their bridal party of 16 truly brought the party! Congratulations to these two on their new marriage!!
