Last weekend it felt like summer again, and it seemed like the entire population of Cleveland was outdoors! (I don't know about you, but I'll take this warm weather as long as we can get it- I have a feeling the winter cold is going to be brutal in the midst of the pandemic!) On Saturday, I met up with two sweet families at Squire's Castle for portrait sessions, and we took full advantage of the clear skies and 70 degree temperatures. First up was the S Family, consisting of Aanchal and Sumit, their 15 month daughter Sarina, and Sumit's brother Amit and his parents.
Despite it being a bit crowded at the park, we were able to work our way around the other people and find areas to ourselves. We began the afternoon in front of the castle itself, then made our way into the nearby woods of the North Chagrin Reservation for a few more tranquil shots surrounded by nature. One of my favorite parts about shooting this time of the year is the light- despite it being the middle of the afternoon, the sun was low in the sky and lit everything up like it was golden hour. Little Sarina was the star of the show, but I had a blast working with everyone. Below are a few favorite images!
