Deb and Matt had always been planning a small, intimate wedding, but when the Covid19 pandemic hit this year they were forced to downsize even further. Deb and Matt relocated their big day from L'Albatros Brasserie near University Circle to Matt's parents' home in Sagamore Hills, and limited their guest list to just a few close family members. What they weren't willing to change? Their wedding date! By getting married on August 16th, Deb and Matt will forever share their wedding anniversary with Deb's grandparents Naomi and Ed, along with several other close friends (also a passerby we ran into during portraits!)
We began the day at Matt's parents' home as Deb and Matt got ready separately. Deb and Matt's first look took place on the house's main staircase, then we headed to Station Road Bridge in the Brecksville Reservation for portraits. The weather all day had been rainy, but the sun came out seemingly just in time for our trip to the park! After portraits, we headed back to the house for Deb and Matt's wedding ceremony on the front porch. Cocktail hour and dinner followed, all hosted by Matt's parents in their home (it doesn't get more personal than that)!
Congratulations to Deb and Matt! I am so excited to capture the rest of this celebration next year!
