Meg and Tyler had originally been planning to get married on August 29th, but like so many other couples this year, ended up making the difficult decision to postpone their celebration until 2021. Despite not being able to tie the knot, however, Meg and Tyler did the next best thing on their would-be wedding date: an engagement session at one of their favorite local parks, followed by a date-night dinner!
This was my first time shooting at Boardman Park in Youngstown, and it did not disappoint! I'm all about locations with lots of variety as well as special meaning to couples, and this spacious park had all of that and more. Meg, Tyler, and I began the evening in the historical gardens, then we explored the nearby gazebo and pine forest. It was great to get to know each other better as well- we talked about everything from wedding plans to our respective fur babies at home!
I can't wait to capture Meg and Tyler's wedding next May! Below are a few favorites from our gorgeous night in Boardman.
