Katie and Sam just got engaged this May, and they wasted no time getting started on wedding planning and scheduling their engagement session! Hoping for a mixture of urban and natural locations, Katie and Sam decided on The Flats as a backdrop for their portraits. We had a beautiful June evening, and it was so fun getting to know the two of them better during our time together.
We began at the jackknife bridge by Shooters on the Water, then headed to Heritage Park and Center Street Bridge for more images by the Cuyahoga River. We then crossed the bridge to the East Bank before heading back to Heritage Park for a few last shots in front of the Cleveland skyline. I find myself in The Flats often, but there is seemingly always something new to discover. Katie and Sam were down for exploring, and as a result we got some new and unique viewpoints of the city- and lots and lots of bridges! Below are a few favorites!
