Gracelyn first reached out to me way back in December about capturing her upcoming proposal to her then girlfriend Christina. After nearly five months of excitement leading up to it, I was so excited to finally meet this pair in person and be a part of this unforgettable moment! 

Christina and Gracelyn live in New York City, so quite a lot of planning went into Gracelyn's proposal! She teamed up with Christina's sisters Terra, Jenna, and Leah to arrange for a family portrait session at an Airbnb in Newbury just outside of Cleveland. We did about 20 minutes of portraits, then Terra instructed everyone to put on blindfolds for a surprise. Little did Christina know, the surprise was just for her! Gracelyn pulled up to the property as Christina was blindfolded (Christina still thinking she was back in New York!) and when Christina took off her blindfold, she was greeted by Gracelyn down on one knee about to pop the question next to the lake. Christina's mom also joined, making for a second surprise appearance!

After Christina and Gracelyn's engagement, we did a few portraits around the grounds of the house before doing a champagne toast with Christina's sisters and mother on the porch. Congratulations to these two on their new engagement!
