Livia: Bat Mitzvah at Temple Israel and the Hilton Columbus Easton

A few years back I photographed Maya's bat mitzvah, and now it was her younger sister Livia's turn! In late November, just before Thanksgiving, I headed to Temple Israel in Columbus for Livi's big day. It was so fun to reconnect with Lori, Tom, Maya, and Livi for this celebration!

There was still some lingering fall color on the trees outside, so we began the day outside the synagogue for some family and individual portraits. We then did more portraits with Livi's extended family and Rabbi Sharon Mars before Livi's service and kiddush luncheon at the temple. Livi did such an incredible job, and had a bounce in her step throughout it all! Later in the evening, Livia's fashion fête began at the Hilton Columbus Easton. Her party featured dazzling decor and nods to Parisian designers throughout all the details, along with lots of fun games, dancing, and a heartfelt candle lighting honoring Livi's closest family and friends.
