Gina and Allen were my first couple affected by the Covid19 pandemic, as they had been planning on getting married in May of 2020. Last year they made the difficult decision to postpone their ceremony until July, and their reception by over a year. 364 days after their ceremony, Gina and Allen were finally able to officially celebrate surrounded by their family and friends at Weymouth Country Club in Medina. The evening felt like we had just picked up where we left off last year after Gina and Allen's ceremony. These two truly made the best of a challenging situation last year, and there were also some silver linings: getting to display wedding images as reception decor, getting to get dressed up more than once, and more time for portraits!
I began the evening photographing details at Weymouth Country Club, including honey wedding favors made by Gina's father in his backyard. (I've become a customer of his myself!) We then did family and wedding party portraits on the edge of the golf course before heading inside for Gina and Allen's entrance, cake cutting, and first dance. Soon later, the dance floor opened, but Gina, Allen and I still found a few moments to step outside for a few last portraits as the sun set.
It has been such a pleasure to work with Gina and Allen, and they are incredibly kind and caring individuals. Below are a few favorites. Congratulations to these two!!
